the chalet

our chalet is a cozy vacation home where you can wake up to the sound of the waves on the tropical coast of brazil.

if you are looking for a tropical paradise where you can relax your troubles away and still be close enough to civilization, this is where you and your family can enjoy your next vacation.

fully furnished front-beach chalet in the still undiscovered northeastern region of brazil. this vacation home has 2 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, living room, a fully equipped kitchen and a small patio and clothes drying area. the bedrooms are furnished each with a full-size bed, fitting up to 4 people (small children accommodation is available upon request). our bathrooms are fully equipped with hot water showers. our kitchen has all the amenities to provide you with a comfortable stay: stove, refrigerator, coffee maker, toaster, dishes, silverware, cookware and cooking utensils.

after a day at the beach you will be able to relax in our comfortable and cozy living room complete with sofa and tv or outside lying on the hammock and enjoying the ocean breeze in the veranda.



the complex

this brand-new condominium complex is a small and private location featuring only 50 town homes, all privately owned. all the units are 2-story condos. You will get a feeling of friendliness and cordiality in our neighborhood. for your convenience this gated community has a large swimming pool with a secure small children area, tennis court, sauna, barbeque area, playground, amphitheater, plenty of grass area for play, a private parking garage, 24-hour guard on duty for added security, a large party hall complete with kitchen and wet-bar area, all this in front of a blue tropical ocean.



the beach of buzios

búzios is a small fishing village about 20 minutes, by car or bus, south of the city of natal. this small village is a quiet location with miles of white-sanded beach and blue water. in buzios you will find a few restaurants and bars, a small water park (great for spending the day out with the family).

for all your immediate household and meal needs, there’s a supermarket across the street from the riviera de búzios, called marzao. marzao is small but there you will find all your quick meal solutions. from bread, milk, cheese and coffee to diapers, baby food, toiletries and snacks, you can find it all at the marzao.



the city of natal

natal is the nearest big city to búzios. natal is also the capital of the state of rio grande do norte, the northeasternmost state in brazil. with a population of about 830.000 people, natal still offers a small town feeling. only 4 degrees below the equator, natal and the ocean that surrounds it are a tropical paradise. beach is a way of life in this city. natal is a very relaxed and informal town and time is of no importance, the perfect place to relax and spend your vacation. the locals are friendly and helpful, a truly vacationer’s paradise.

how to get around

if you would like to rent a car you may do so at the airport upon arrival. other less expensive and just as reliable rental car options may be found at the beach of ponta negra. a few companies also rent cellular phones. please let us know if you wish to do so and we will have our contact person help you.



entertainment

if you enjoy quiet living in a tropical vacation spot, búzios is the beach for you with plenty of restaurants on the beach, bar, snack bars, cabana style places, a water park which is perfect to spend the day with the family . but if occasionally you feel like a night on the town, you can enjoy just that as close as 20 minutes away by public transportation. at ponta negra beach you can enjoy many restaurants, nightclubs, bars and live entertainment any day of the week. children are welcome anywhere in northeast brazil and the local are very accommodating to families with young ones.

you will also enjoy the varied seafood as well as typical dishes and drinks at front beach restaurants and bars in ponta negra.



things to do and places to visit

if excitement is what you are looking for, look no further. búzios and the surrounding beaches have everything the adventurer in you is looking for. from snorkeling in the natural ocean swimming pools and reefs, to deep sea diving, day-trips through the white sand dunes in dune buggies (these trips are also customized for younger children), water skydiving, deep-sea fishing, surfing, parasailing, windsurfing, kitesurfing, scuba diving, suntanning, jogging, walking, shopping, etc.

enjoy also the varied wildlife and many tropical plant species at the tropical botanical park in natal. one of only two left from the atlantic forest in brazil. this tropical forest is a must for nature lovers and a great place to visit with children.

don’t miss the forte dos reis magos, a fortress dating back to the 16th century, used by the portuguese to protect the city from foreign invaders, which was briefly occupied by the dutch in the 17th century. visit also the centro de turismo, and old prison turned shopping showcase for the many types of local artifacts and handmade treasures created by local artisans. most places in natal an d the sorrounding beach areas are children friendly as well as the people in northeast brazil.

prices charged are per week and a minimum of 1 week is required for booking.

one-week rental --e$250 high season (nov.-feb)

e$200 rest of the year

e$300 carnaval week

a deposit of e$250 is required to hold your reservation. payment must be made in full 2 weeks prior to your arrival. Date changes or cancellations must be made no later than 30 days prior to your arrival date in order for your deposit to be refunded. changes of date are possible depending on availability.
