Vacation Rental Description

'chez cartaud' is a typical charentaise country cottage set in the large gardens of eric cartaud and his family; a french wine, pineau and cognac producer.

there is a swimming pool and large garden. The cottage is equipped and furnished in typical charentaise style. There are sunbeds, garden table, chairs, parasol and barbecue.

fresh bread is delivered most days but all major facilities such as supermarkets and banks plus a twice weekly french food market can be found a short drive away in st jean d'angely.

the family are extremely friendly but speak little english but help is on hand if needed as we are good friends of eric and marie and live just 2 km away. We handle all the booking arrangements as well to make things easier.

the property is ideally located to visit all the sites of the region including bordeaux, beaches, la rochelle and cognac .
