Situated on nova scotia's south shore, this 1875 country home is located in the quaint fishing village of lower east pubnico, 35 minutes from yarmouth, the port of arrival for the portland and bar harbor, maine ferries. An excellent base of operation for exploring the south shore or simply for relaxing in the yard on the adirondack chairs, experiencing the seabreezes and the sparkling waters of pubnico harbor.

overlooking pubnico harbor and the west pubnico marina, this 3 bedroom house has 2 baths, one on the main floor and one upstairs. The main floor consists of a fully equipped kitchen, a great room with wood stove, dining room with a seating capacity for 8, center hallway, living room from which to watch the beautiful sunsets over the harbor, a bedroom and a full bath. The upstairs consists of 2 bedrooms, a full bath and a study/den with sofa bed. The waterview can be seen from all the rooms in the house except the kitchen. This home is tastefully decorated with some antiques, quilts, hand braided and hand hooked rugs. Both baths have clawfoot antique tubs. Most floors are the original wide pine boards.
