Holiday home donegal ireland. 5 bedroom ~ sleeps 10. Daisy cottage is a two storey 100 year old newly renovated holiday home in small, busy village in south donegal. The house is also our family holiday home and so comes equipped with all the extras a large family or 2 smaller familes need for a relaxed holiday in county donegal.
our well stocked kitchen is great for all you cooks - you can make a delicious meal with the family and friends gathered beside you around our 12 seater table. (if you love fish you could either take a boat trip locally and catch your own or simply take a visit to nearby killybegs where freshly caught fish can be purchased most days. And then while in killybegs,you can stock up on fresh fruit, veg, eggs and preserves from a market stall). Or if the weather is fine, why not use our bbq and prepare an al fresco meal on our paved patio and then relax over a glass of wine whilst the children play in our orchard garden beside you.
or you could relax in front of the open fire in the living room where you could watch tv, or a dvd from our collection. And if you love music what better way to wind down than to listen to one of our cds?
and later, retire to bed in and sleep in the comfort of egyptian cotton bedding and awake refreshed for another day exploring beautiful donegal.
the village: the village of dunkineely is set in beautiful countryside with long shorelines nearby together with many sandy beaches within short driving distance, the nearest being just a few miles away.

location: busy little village with sandy beaches nearby, shoreline, nr. St. john's point, donegal town, killybegs. In the village: grocery store a few yards from house, bus stops, taxi service, hairdressers, beauty salon, diner/take-away, post office, bars (some with live irish music).
nearby: sandy beaches, shoreline, mountains, freshly caught fish can be purchased most days on killybegs pier.
activities locally: hill walking, diving, surfing, horse riding, fishing, boat trips, shopping, dining, golf.

We have renovated to daisy cottage to be a safe and comfortable home away from home both for our own family and you, our guests. it is specifically geared to make family holidays relaxed for the adults ~ we have most, if not everthing, for babies to save our guest having to carry all the must haves with them. There are also a selction of toys, games, and childrens dvds. There is also a wii with sports games, a computer with internet access and an ipod docking station for the older kids. There is also a games room with a pool table and darts board for the adults & older kids. our orchard garden and patio area are walled and therefore a safe place for kids to play (supervised of course). as well as families, daisy cottage is also a great place for a group of friends/couples. It is spacious ~ 12 can sit around the kitchen table, 12 can sit on the paved patio area, 8 can lounge on the sofas in the living room, so plenty of room for 10 friends to spread out around the house. we want you to feel daisy cottage is your home away from home in donegal and we look forward to welcoming you.
Price Details
€600 per week €800 per week july & august, christmas, new year booking: deposit to secure booking €200. Balance due 6 weeks prior to arrival. Breakages/damage/extra cleaning deposit €100 payable in cash up arrival or pre-paid with balance accommodation fee. This €100 will be returned within one week of departure providing the house is left as found. included in rental: bedding, towels, beach towels, internet access, cell/mobile with prior request, water. extras: electricity - metered, oil - metered, fuel for fire.
