Smugglers cove is situated in secluded valley, 200 yards from watermouth cove and was originally the coach house of watermouth castle. It is one of 8 cottages situated around a sheltered sunny courtyard and a beautiful garden, with woodland beyond. From smugglers cove there are lovely views of the castle and lake.



smugglers cove has night storage heaters included in the tariff and a log-fire for those cosy, romantic evenings. It also has a four-poster double bed. in addition there are two twin bedded rooms.



watermouth cove is in a semi rural area and offers direct access to the south west coastal path and the tarka trail. Within ten minutes walk there is a local pub and the picturesque village of berrynarbor is also close by. The resorts of ilfracombe and combe martin are within a few miles and bustling barnstaple is just 20 minutes drive away.



smugglers cove is an ideal base from which to explore either the dramatic scenery of north devon and exmoor or, the attractions of the seaside ranging from the rock pools of watermouth to the wide sandy expanses of woolacombe, croyde and saunton beaches.
