Vacation Rental Description

The villa was designed by the famous architect andre svetchine and features his signature such as the rare old terracotta floors throughout, antique fireplaces and glazed lava tiled bathrooms. Nestled into the hill above the picturesque village of st. Jean, assures the stunning panoramic eastward sea-views from all rooms. The living room has a working antique stone fireplace, a dining table and accesses both the breakfast terrace of the master bedroom as well as the pool area. The loggia area offers a fireplace, both for ambiance and/or cooking, a table with seating for 12 and large panoramic windows that slide into the wall opening onto the exceptional 180 degree view of the village, st. Hospice and the sea with italy in the background. There is a water cascade built into the rock beside the pool,which can be floodlight and heated. The village with its numerous shops, restaurants, port and several beaches is only minutes walk away.the beautiful village of st. Jean is located on the prestigious pine tree covered peninsula of st. Jean cap ferrat, the village is nestled around its charming port and offers numerous shops, restaurants and cafes. The beaches are all well kept and some offer beach club/restaurant facilities with a variety of watersports. Four beaches are only a 5 min walk from the villa. There are many walks around the peninsula with stunning views onto beaulieu, cap d'ail, italy or cap d'antibes and nice. From st. Jean one can easily explore the region along the coast or up to the mountains. The closest ski resorts are only 1 1/2 hours drive away. The large city of nice with all its attractions, beaches and shops is only 15 minutes away and on the other side monaco/monte carlo glitters with its casinos, luxury hotels and gourmet restaurants. Italy is just a short train ride or drive away and attracts with its picturesque market and variety of food.there are many brokers locally who offer boats (sailing or motor) for rent, daily and long term, with or without skipper. Several places offer watersports such a water-skiing, wake boarding, pedalos, kite surfing or fun trips for children on plastic floaters. Paloma beach (offering sun-bed rentals, full restaurant service, shower, changing rooms, water ski, wakeboading, windsurfing etc), the central village beach, 'les fossettes' beach and 'les fosses' beach are all only a 5 minutes walk away. 'plage passable' on the west facing side of the peninsula with great views at sunset with sun-bed rental and full restaurant service is 15 minute walk away. The beaches of beaulieu sur mer and villefranche are a 5 minute drive away.
