L’antico podere, a vacation home located in valiano di montepulciano (si), is an elegant farmhouse situated in tuscany, in a quiet, panoramic area facing the splendid valdichiana.
the structure is made up of an antique farmhouse dating back to 1788, today entirely restored and brought back to its antique splendour, completed with the most modern comforts. The restoration work left untouched the original, typically-tuscan construction characteristics, leaving arches, wooden beam vaults and red bricks.
the farmhouse holds seven delightful apartments (one of which is equipped for diversely capable guests), all decorated with care and elegance, each with private bath and furnished with an autonomous kitchen with oven and refrigerator, lcd satellite tv, autonomous gas heat, air-conditioning, wood-burning fireplace, linens and utensils of every kind.
available to the guests are large outdoor areas for relaxing, a parking lot, and a swimming pool endowed with a fascinating view of the valdichiana, characterized by easy, rolling hills of vineyards, olive groves and woods.
a place full of charm and history, which in a refined and elegant ambience, generates a magical, harmonious atmosphere and a warm welcome. Four legged friends are welcomed.
antico podere is 300 meters from the town of valiano (with stores of every kind), in montepulciano, and is easily reachable from the chiusi chianciano junction of the a1- (21 km) for those coming from the south, and that of bettole valdichiana (km 12) for those coming form the north.
it is located in an ideal place for visiting, in the immediate area, travelling the “strade del vino nobile (way of noble wines)”, the centres of montepulciano (10 km), cortona (18 km), sinalunga (22 km), chiusi (22 km), pienza (16 km), s. Quirico d’orcia (23 km) and many others, but also the nearby of art cities of siena (67 km) arezzo (49 km) and perugia (51 km) and the well-known thermal baths of montepulciano (10 km), chianciano terme (10 km), bagno vignoni (24 km) and rapolano (40 km) and firenze (110 km).
