This charming and intimate large studio apartment has been recently renovated by its former architect/owner. The paris apartment is located on a small quiet, narrow street in the marais. This is the heart of paris' fashionable cafes, clubs and museums nearby. The walk along the seine is nearby, with notre dame and the ile st louis as your neighbors. The national archives and the national museum of the hunt are also nearby. You have the rue des rosiers nearby which is one of the oldest neighborhoods in paris.

just in front of the front door to the building is the renown mariage freres, the upscale tea merchant and tea room with its colonial french decor. Also in the area are many home deco shops, elegant and trendy clothing stores. The apartment is located on the 4th floor of a walk up building with a stone wall entrace and exposed wood beams. Upon entering the 45 square meter studio, you are surprised by the many windows and bright sunlight that comes in. There are large expanses of exposed wood beams in the apartment too.

a large open space, the apartment features a red leather sofa, book case with cable television and a micro stereo system. In a small alcove behind the main living area is bedroom area. It has a standard double bed with a storage area next to it. There is also a sofa bed to allow up to 4 people to stay here. There are closets on one wall of the bedroom area that area finished off with mirrored bifold doors. You will have generous storage for your clothes and storing your suitacases away. There is also a small window in this area which has a venetian blind to keep out the light from the outside.

the dining area has a small bistro marble top table with four wood chairs. This area is just outside of the kitchen area. The kitchen area is adjacent to the main area and is fully equipped with a refrigerator, microwave oven, diswasher and halogen cook top and oven. There are plenty of cooking utensils and counter top space to prepare and serve that great dinner where you shopped on nearby rue rambuteau, gettings all the ingredients from the many open air markets. The sleek dark green bathroom is fitted with an art deco style mirror that lights from behind, a black marble vanity top and sink. There are several cabinets underneath for storing towels and other bathroom necessities. The shower is also located in the bathroom. It is large and spacious too. The toilet is located in the bathroom as well. There is an electric heater/towel dryer installed in the bathroom as well.
