Vacation Rental Description

this 63 square meter, 1-bedroom apartment is located in the 4th arrondissement, on the 3rd french floor of an 1830’s building. it sleeps up to 4 comfortably.

a single 3m2 entrance hall connects all the rooms of the apartment except the bedroom. it therefore leads to the living room, spacious and comfortable, 20m2, bourgeois, with a 19th century fireplace and mirror, and warmly decorated with chinese objects and tables, and two two-person leather couches, one of which folds out into a double bed. it has two windows with a pleasant view on the rue rambuteau, allowing plenty of light during the day.

the kitchen, with 12m2, a large table which sits 4, and all the comforts and amenities of a new modern kitchen. a large cheery window gives on to the courtyard, allowing plenty of light.

the surprisingly large 5m2 bathroom, like the kitchen, has been recently redone and prides itself on gleaming white tiles, a large mirror, double sinks, an american-size bathtub and plenty of electric as well as natural light. the washing machine is in this room.

a door off the living room leads to the bedroom. like the rest of the apartment, the bedroom is well-proportioned, large, comfortable, and full of natural light. its 15m2 has a queen-size bed, end tables, lamps, an 1830’s fireplace crowned by a beautiful wood 19th century mirror and one full wall of built-in closets. the window has a charming view of the rue rambuteau and is double-paned so as not to let in street noise and assure a good night’s sleep.

location: the tourist or businessman would have trouble finding a more hip, central area in paris for their stay. the rue rambuteau is a market street full of caterers, fruit and vegetable markets, bakeries and cheese and wine shops, as well as the typical parisian cafés, a favorite for people-watchers. the street itself is lined with 1830’s buildings, but finds itself in the heart of historical paris, in the marais area. the marais, home of the french nobles in the renaissance era, displays architecture from all periods, starting from the renaissance right up to the 20th century, with the pompidou center a minute away.

closest metro: rambuteau (2min walk) and within 5min walk : les halles, chatelet, arts et métier, hotel de ville (line 1/3/4/7/11 rer a-b (direct from cdg)
