We rent two apartments (6-8 and 4 persons) in pleasant and peaceful place povlja on the island of brac, croatia. Apartments are in stone made house in pure natural area, 60 m away from extreme clear sea (beach). We offer safe parking place behind the hose, grill and use of wine cellar.
povlja is situated on the north-eastern side of the island of brac, tugged in a gulf consisting of about ten smaller bays of which the most beautiful and attractive is the harbour of povlja. In the necklace of the island’s settlements, povlja stood as early as roman times, creating thus a long and rich history which is now imprinted in the cultural and historical monuments.
the early christian basilica, the baptistery, the famous charter of povlja and the povlja lintel, dating from the 12th century, are only a part of the rich cultural heritage. Tourism and catering are the basis of economy together with processing and ennobling of famous brac’s marble, growing and processing olives as well as fruits of the sea.
