Vacation Rental Description

In the village of maroulas near rethymnon
this superb 18th century house, which was carefully restored in 1990, offers a spacious living area of 530sqm, for 9 to 11 people. The house is right in the middle of the beautiful old village of maroulas, which is renowned for its old venetian houses, about 6 km from rethymnon.
there is a 600sqm patio courtyard with high walls, which offers privacy in spite of being in the heart of the village. This courtyard has, in one corner, a beautiful big jacuzzi for nine people, and along with elegant garden furniture and potted plants and sun mellowed stone paving, creates a secluded peaceful ambience. To further enhance this villa there is a 28sqm swimming pool.
the huge ground floor living room has marble floors, old stone archways, a fireplace and several seating areas, an open plan fully equipped marble kitchen, with dishwasher, microwave and generous sized dining area. In this wing of the house, along with a play corner set up for children, there is a bedroom with a double bed, and a tiny private patio/terrace. Through a glass roofed corridor there is another bedroom with a double bed and bath/wc en-suite, a separate shower/wc, a utility room with washing machine and dryer, and a door leading to a courtyard on 3 levels. From the spacious upper sun terraces there are glorious views across the countryside to the sea.
on the first storey, there is a spacious bedroom with a double bed, elegant long windows, fireplace, and bath/wc en-suite, a single bedroom, a bedroom with a bed set on wooden platform, as well as a separate bath/wc and a large spacious terrace. Via the inner courtyard there is yet another separate bedroom with a double bed, a wardrobe, desk and private bath/wc. All of the bedrooms have air conditioning, which is included in the price.
the house has every modern amenity such as telephone, fax,free internetconnection, tv with video, a radio and heating. The house is cleaned every day,except sundays and the service for your clothes is included too.one bedroom is suitable for disabled guests and wheelchairdrive which have a little bit help, and pets are welcome. In the old village of maroulas there are 2 tavernas and 1 typical greek kafenion. The sandy beach is 3 km away and a car is recommended.


rates you get are valid according the total requested number of days, type of unit offered and the number of guests you gave us, including aircondition,heating,internet linen, towels, water, electricity and cleaning services.

booking + payment conditions
with you booking you accept not only following details,which are valid according internationla rules of
tourism,but also zou follow all the steps,whiche are given for to make your reservation !
your full name,address + faxnumber, and in case the age of children at the day of departure, we need anyway !!!
your booking form – either by telefone call. Email, fax or letter – will be confirmed by us. Both parts are now full responsible after international rule of tourism,you should have a flight and the exact dates !!!
you will get the contract + the payment conditions by fax + email – and send it signed immediately back to us by fax or you can sign the email and send it signed back………………..
anyway you will get the contract by post.
in the moment receiving the contract in order to make your booking sure, you have to pay a deposit of 20 % of the total amount,minimum 100 euro ,last minute 100 %, transfer straight to our bank account
the balance of the total amount by banktransfer, 28 days before your arrival to our account.
cancellation fees from the moment of your booking are as follows:
change of dates: 50 euro cancellation is only valid with our confirmation ! ! !

more than 90 days before arrival 30 %
89 – 30 days 70 %
29 – 3 days 85 %
2 – 0 days 90 %

arrival times in the accommodation are according the rules of tourism: arrival in the unit from 4.00 pm,departure until 12.00 am. If this makes sometimes problems with your personal arrival time on crete, we advice, to book according this times 1 or 2 days more !!!
