Vacation Rental Description

Choice of 1, 2 and 3 bed apartments. Situated on one of the largest farms in castro marim, these traditionally furnished apartments offer peace and tranquility, but are close to the local towns of castro marim, villa real de santo antonio and monte gordo.

the apartments are located in a national park, (reserva natural do sapal de castro marim), on the highest hill in the surrounding area. This offers spectacular views over the countryside and across the river guadiana to spain. Relax by the pool ( 20m x 7.5m) and watch the sunrise, sunset or see if you can spot a flamingo.

all apartments are equipped with kitchen, living/dining room, bathroom, air-conditioning, t.v., mosquito screens, patio table and chairs and access to barbecue grills. Kitchens are equipped with, fridge, oven, microwave, kettle, and all utensils.

with its inviting long beaches tavira is considered by many to be the most beautiful town in the algarve. Stand on the battlements of the moorish castle on top of the hill in the centre and you have a panoramic view over the steeply angled tiled roofs of city as it is bisected by the gently flowing river séquia, which mysteriously becomes the river gilão as it flows beneath the roman bridge that connects tavira’s two halves.

as one gazes down from the ramparts, one cannot fail to be impressed by the number of luminous white façades, spires, domes and bell-towers that surround.the city possesses no less than 37 churches. Indeed it appears that every christian denomination in the country has its own pied-á-terre at tavira. Many of these churches are beautifully constructed and display a sumptuous decorative style, often presenting masterful artistry through frescoes, paintings, wood carvings, sculptures, tile and gilt work.
